Keeping it Subtle: The new single from Active Child

Stereogum immediately hailed the new single from Active Child as “wonderful.” Pitchfork raved about its intense physicality. And we're sharing it with you before it's all over the radio.

Now Mikky Ekko usually collaborates with Rihanna but we think this sounds much more like classic JT than Umbrellas. So much so that we're throwing this out there. The first person to come into Cloth & Metal and to sing a few of the bars—falsetto included—will win VIP guest tickets to the Active Child show in LA at the El Ray on 11/23. Dancing's not necessary but if you're going to get into the spirit, we'd appreciate the gesture.


A little bit more about Active Child & the new EP Rapor

After nearly 2 years of constant touring in support of his wildly successful debut You Are All That I See, Pat Grossi, singer and multi-instrumentalist,  sought refuge from the constant grind. Once he slowed down, he had a creative outpouring. Highlights from the EP include “Silhouette,” a collaboration with Ellie Goulding.
