Kickstarter darling, U-Turn Audio is bringing some dead simple, yet clever designs. While not a household audiophile brand name, their products have been garnering some serious love from some of the most stalwart analog reviewers based on their price/performance. Their turntables redefine who now has access to great vinyl sound quality and their products are hand built and tested in Boston, MA to boot.

Description

Every Orbit comes with a felt mat, but cork is widely regarded as a superior material thanks to its improved damping and ability to reduce static. This cork mat is handmade in Brooklyn, NY and has been custom cut for the Orbit's platter by the 7516 Cork Mat Company. This mat is 1/8" thick and will fit any turntable with a platter approximately 300 mm in diameter.
