"Science and technology is pushing our society forward by leaps and bounds on a daily basis. The genetic code of life, DNA, has been cracked and decoded. Tinkering with these building blocks of life, we are experimenting with swapping genetic material from different species to create new ones. My sculptures try to explore these concepts and work to push those ideas past what we are currently able to do scientifically into the realm of future possibilities."
